Sauvignon Blanc

Vintage: 2010.  Limited Edition.
Colour: Pale rim graduating to a pale yellow/lemon coloured core.
Aroma: A myriad of Marlborough summer memories:  reminiscent of mango, honey dew melon combine with lemon grass, red capsicum, mineral notes.  An intriguing smokiness.  Uplifting.
Palate: Fine with an elegant structure, finishing juicy and mouth-watering.  Flavours such as pinnk grapefruit, fresh basil, snow pea shoots and feijoa.  Beautifully balanced.  It will leave you wanting more...

VITICULTURE

Terroir: Soil: Stony, free draining, some fine clay silt loams in parts.
Canopy Management Regime: Vertical Shoot Positioning, North-South Facing rows, combination of two, three and four cane pruning.
Harvest Method: Machine harvested over ten days with six passes through the vineyard, ending with 13 individual cuvees to blend from.
Harvest Dates: Between 10-21 April.

OENOLOGY

Fermentation: Cool fermentation (12-14 degrees) in stainless steel tanks to accentuate the natural aromatics.
Residual Sugar: 2.9 g/l
Alcohol Content: 13.0%
Titratable Acid: 7.74 g/l
pH: 3.14
